A series of high-pitched clicks (~19/sec), begining quietly then increasing in volume, in long bursts of up to 20 seconds.

Calling song/stridulation from a single captive male Common Green Grasshopper (Omocestus viridulus) in a terrarium in presence of two females.

A series of high-pitched clicks (~10/sec), begining quietly then increasing in volume, in very long bursts of up to two minutes (at 22.5°C ambient room temp, no heat lamp or direct sun).
