Calling song/stridulation from a male Large Conehead (Ruspolia nitidula) in Bramble scrub on chalk cliffs after dark.

A very rapid, high-pitched continuous 'electrical' buzzing lasting minutes-on-end composed of 70 syllables/sec, concentrated around 10-16 kHz at 21°C.
