 Sonogram of Cormorant breeding calls

Aardla, Estonia  58° 23' 40.6" N   26° 32' 32.4" E   25 May 2010, 1717h

Male breeding call between (1.8 and 2.7 seconds, at 1.3-6.4 kHz); throaty rattle of wooden 'clicks'. In company of female before taking flight. Several other males flying continuously between different areas in pursuit of females (Black-headed Gulls in the background).
