Sonogram of Speckled Bush-cricket stridulation [speckledbushcricket117346ecut]

Calling song/stridulation from a male Speckled Bush-cricket (Leptophyes punctatissima) in garden shrubbery.

A single, quiet, ultrasonic element repeated every 3-4 seconds. Largely inaudible to my ears, this individual was recorded using heterodyne bat detector set to 40 kHz which transforms the sound into a loud audible tap.
